Second Marriage

“Bill” and “Bonnie” came to us after Bill realized he wasn’t particularly interested in taking care of his own investments any longer. He was familiar enough with bonds to invest in his home state’s tax exempt issues and did some of his own stock trading. However, he found that the constant management bothered him, and he wasn’t sure he could take care of his new wife’s considerable investments.

Over the years since Bill and Bonnie asked us to handle their accounts, we’ve diversified their portfolios from long held positions in oil companies and large positions in inherited stocks. They now have a well-rounded portfolio that spans every equity sector, as well as a multi-state tax exempt bond portfolio that produces income. Bill spends his time playing golf, and Bonnie is a flourishing artist.
